Phobias

“Heart pounding, palms sweaty, I get dizzy and feel like I have lost all control.”

Having a fear or phobia is quite common. A fear is derived from some event or memory and how that event or memory made you feel – which essentially creates a physiological response in your body that seems just out of your control.

That physiological response is like a flood gate opening up and unstoppable once it starts flowing in.

It’s debilitating and hopeless. Things that seem so simple to others are exceptionally challenging to you: being around crowds, in a social setting, getting on a plane, being on a stage, or standing on a balcony.

What is it that they have that you don’t have? How does one stare at fear and not be affected by it?

Fears and phobias can affect where and what you do.

Someone scared of heights will not go to a destination they always dreamed of. They can’t face climbing a summit, or getting on a plane, or driving on a highway. Maybe it’s crossing a bridge or being around animals.

The fear is so debilitating that it controls WHERE you go and what you do.

So, you avoid planes, you avoid bridges, you avoid a dear loved friend’s house because they have a dog. You are terrified by the simple thought of even purchasing a ticket to fly to see your elderly mother and instead drive countless lost hours of time.

You lose more than just time. You lose the joys that life is made for; the experiences of people, places, and situations that could enrich your life in so many ways.

You know all those ways… just think about what your phobia truly has held you back from? The people you could meet, the places you could visit, or the things you could do.

What would life be like without that fear or phobia?

To simply go and do and BE who you want to be in public, around people, in ANY place you may dream or want to be.

It is my mission to help you get the life you want without fears or phobias getting in the way of your living.

It doesn’t matter how illogical or irrational the fear/phobia is. That’s precisely why it is such a nuisance!

Because of the way your mind works – memories, events or experiences, and the biological process of your subconscious mind – reality or logic of the actual threat level does not matter.

I can help create that clear line for you through hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy can help change the view of that fear or phobia through reprogramming your subconscious mind of how it sees that event or memory.

It does not make you forget it in anyway, but it will change your perspective.
